Tulsa County adds two early voting locations for November midterm election
Tulsa County will offer four early voting sites across all four quadrants for the November general election, doubling its standard locations.
Tulsa County voters can cast ballots at four early voting locations for the Nov. 3 General Election. The decision expands access across all four quadrants of the county ahead of the midterm vote.
The Tulsa County Election Board announced two extra polling places alongside its two standard locations. Voters will have four total venues to cast their ballots early.
“We’re so pleased to provide these additional early voting sites for the benefit of our voters for this very high-profile November election,” Secretary of the Tulsa County Election Board Gwen Freeman said. “With these additional sites, we are making available early voting sites in the North, South, East, and West quadrants of Tulsa County to better serve our voters.”
The four early voting sites and their addresses are:
- Tulsa County Election Board headquarters , 12000 East Skelly Drive
- Tulsa Technology Center Broken Arrow , 4000 West Florence Street
- O’Brien Park Community Center , 6149 North Lewis Avenue
- Chandler Park Community Center , 6500 West 21st Street
Freeman praised the collaboration with Tulsa County Parks and Director Matt Hancock. O’Brien Park serves residents in North Tulsa, Turley, Sperry, Skiatook, Collinsville and Owasso. Chandler Park serves voters in Sand Springs, Berryhill, West Tulsa and Mannford.
According to the Tulsa County Election Board, officials select each venue using specific criteria. Sites require ample parking and room for voters and security. Locations must avoid congested roads to prevent traffic jams.
Early voting begins Wednesday, Oct. 28. It ends Saturday, Oct. 31.
Sites will run from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday. Saturday hours run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
County election boards manage local polling operations, voter registrations and official ballot counts. Early voting allows registered citizens to cast ballots in person before the designated election date. The official election day is Nov. 3.
Voting occurs across Tulsa County precincts on that final date.
