Around 2:42 a.m. on Wednesday, the Osage County Sheriff’s Office received a tip from the Arkansas City, Kansas Police Department. The Kansas agency reported receiving messages from a woman claiming someone held her at an Osage County residence.

Deputies were dispatched to the home on George Braden Road near Ponca City. They found the woman and helped her safely leave the property.

An investigation revealed the woman met the suspect on Facebook Dating. The two messaged for about a week. The suspect then drove to Kansas, picked her up, and brought her to his house.
