Robert Lebeau arrested on gun and drug charges in Tulsa

Tulsa police arrested Robert Lebeau on gun and drug trafficking complaints after seizing stolen firearms and suspected fentanyl during a search warrant.

Robert Lebeau was booked into jail on multiple felony complaints in Tulsa on Friday. Officers took him into custody following a disturbance report. Tulsa Police booked the 49-year-old man into the Tulsa County jail.

Officers responded to an apartment near 39th West Avenue and West 8th Street around 5 p.m. on Friday. They answered a call for a weapons disturbance. Witnesses told officers that someone was seen waving a handgun outside and threatening someone.

Police identified the suspect as Lebeau. Investigators confirmed he was a convicted felon. Officers then secured a search warrant.

Officers executed the warrant in Tulsa. They found a black 9mm pistol in Lebeau’s possession. The firearm had a red dot sight and an extended magazine. Police later confirmed the handgun was stolen from Sapulpa.

Officers found additional items during the search. They located a chrome .380 caliber pistol and ammunition for both guns.

Officers also found cash, a digital scale, and 47 individual bindles. They seized multiple bags of what officers say may be fentanyl. The bags totaled 339.6 grams.

Police arrested Lebeau on several complaints:

  • Two counts of possession of a firearm after former conviction of a felony (AFCF)
  • Aggravated trafficking of fentanyl ACFC
  • Aggravated possession of controlled dangerous substances with intent to distribute ACFC
  • Possession of a stolen firearm ACFC
  • Possession of drug proceeds ACFC
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

An arrest marks the start of a criminal case. Tulsa Police noted that an arrest is not a conviction.

Defendants booked into the county jail typically appear before a judge for initial bond hearings. Prosecutors review the police reports to determine formal charges.
